I seal the last wedding invitation into its cellophane packaging before lovingly wrapping it in crisp tissue paper in my favourite shade of soft dove grey.
This is my favourite part of every order; knowing that the invitations
are finished and waiting patiently in their snug little box to embark on
the journey to their new home.
I sit here and imagine the bride and groom slowly opening the package, unveiling the papery goodness that nestles inside.
I imagine them writing the invitations together, mocking each others’ handwriting, excitedly sealing envelopes and fixing stamps before despatching them to guests all over the country or even to the other side of the world!
The wedding may not be for months… but this is something that they
can do together now.
The very first step on their path to becoming husband and wife, and for every order I create I am so pleased to be a part of that first magical
step…
